Each client I work with has a different set of needs and is unique.
Helping someone build a wardrobe that mixes their existing clothes and blending it seamlessly into their future style takes a good understanding of them, what their tastes are as well as their lifestyle needs and bodyshape preferences.
Finding the right brands means we can be more sustainable as we welcome items into our wardrobe that will be a useful item for a long time to come.
I’ve compliled the 12 brands that have helped my clients this year and why I’ve used them - I hope you find one that works for you!
Let’s tap into the brands that make dressing feel truly personal
Before diving into the list let me know - Would you like to know what brands would be good for you so that your wardrobe feels different to everyone else’s and makes you feel most like yourself?
Or perhaps you are in a rut of always of going on the same websites and buying for function but loose the edge or uniqueness you crave?
Or maybe you want to be better at pre-loved shopping but don’t know what to shop for?
Then buy yourself a Power Hour with me and let’s book it in for 2026.
FOR WORK
1.Marella - Max Mara’s diffusion line. Quality, modern tailoring. Pushing the boundaries of classic, like this corduroy suit - it’s rare that corduroy feels elegant and sexy.
2. The Fold - Another brand who’s prioritises quality and cut but with a twist. For the subtle rebel who struggles to find amazing trousers for work.
FOR CASUAL
3. Studio Nicholson - this is high end pricing for everyday dressing but if your life really is casual and you want cool practicality then this brand always hits on fabrication and subtle but intelligent pattern cutting
Studio Nicholson knitwear is a dream
4. Varley Probably the most recommended athleisure set that has universally helped many different clients make working from home more elevated or travelling easier! The neck of this Sally Sweatshirt is so elegant
PRO-TIP If the sizes are low on their site do check Harvey Nichols, Flannels and Net a Porter’s stock
FOR JEANS
5. Wrap London - an amazing range of intersting but mature denim, cords and casual trousers. British brand with only a few UK stores, always well cut and a good range of colours.
6. Pistola denim from Anthropologie - LA brand that fits like a premium denim brand but at a top highstreet price. This was a great find this year.
FOR PRE-LOVED
7. Circle Boutique - Sussex boutique based in Haselmere, if my clients love Isabel Marent, Bash or Frame Jeans but don’t want to the price tag to go with it.
8. Vinted - the best place to really dive into finding those gems. I found this Tibi trench for my client.
FOR SHOES
9. Marks & Spencer - There have been a lot of improvements made to M&S fashion. There is no doubt they are very much a fast fashion company but I find them useful for trying out a new design style, for their cashmere, hoisery and jewellery.
Wedge boot that feels fashion and practical
10. Penelope Chilvers - One of my clients this year has had the worst luck with footwear. Everything rubbed and gave her blisters until we found Penelope Chilvers. Beautifully crafted, Spanish made, forever in your wardrobe and very comfy!
FOR BAGS
11. Radley - I cannot take credit for this find. A client of mine recommended them and with their new design team behind them the brand feels more modern and far from the little blue dog, mumsy days.
FOR JEWELLERY
12. COS - The brooches, the asymmetric earrings, the cuffs. So many options that feel truly designer and interesting.
Great style is never just about buying, shopping and consuming.
However finding the brands that match our style vibe and solve our daily dressing challenges and can make shopping feel less like trawling endlessly through websites and more like inspiring us is the goal!
