How to Find your Style

My Favourite Object!

Who are you?

Who do you want to be?

A nice light question for you!

Our identity can feel like such an intangible, deep and challenging thing to grasp hold of but what if I told you that I have created a fun and tangible way to uncover your identity and help you find your style when you are lost.

I've used this method for last 5 years of the business and had incredible results from it.

The way I help people uncover their style and identity is to start by asking them to identifying their favourite objects.

The objects that make you think 'I'm so happy to own that' or 'that is so me'.

What would those objects be for you?

How easy do you find it to identify them?

Having a strong sense of style is so closely linked to having a strong sense of yourself.

Most stylists will focus in on your colour palate, your proportions, your lifestyle and your future goals.

All important elements that I also use but for me aren't quite enough.

You can make someone look good but the true art is making them feel like the evolved version of themselves.

These questions of who am I and who do I want to be have really underpinned my own journey personally as well as professionally.

When I was in my teenage years and early 20's I was shut down and rejected by my dad for being myself.

So many of us have had experiences when we were shut down.

Our object can open up incredible conversations and invite us into stepping into clothes that help us to feel authentic and visible.

That helps us relax and feel empowered.

So I encourage you, have a think about what your objects would be and book in a Style Words Consultation with me to discover your words and how we then bring them to life in your wardrobe.

My favourite painting above always make me feel so good and aligns beautifully with my words: Cool, Elegant and Impacful.

It reminds me of the colours that bring me to life, the subtle textures that make an outfit and the visual flow and ease I love. It also reminds me of the quality and artistry I appreciate.

Our objects can help reflect ourselves back and highlight what makes us unique.

Once you know your words you will have a framework to know:

- What to keep hold of and what to let go of in your wardrobe

- What is missing from your wardrobe

- What colours to lean into

- What brands to engage with

- How to put together a successful outfit

but most importantly you will be able to say ‘that is so me and helps me step into the women I want to become’ because you feel emboldened to try something new and it feel authentic.

That’s what I think we all want to feel comfortable and confident, to feel like ourself but to grow and push our boundaries.

Why not give it a try and discover your words, your intentions, your vibe and see the impact it can have on understanding yourself and where you’ve been going wrong and not honouring yourself.
